In August 2024, I successfully defended my PhD.
This was an important personal and professional milestone, marking the culmination of years of research, collaboration, and learning. I am grateful to my supervisors, collaborators, and family for their constant support and encouragement throughout this journey.
The PhD journey
My doctoral work focused on intelligent transportation systems and data-driven analytics, with applications in public transport and metro systems. Over the course of the PhD, I worked on:
- Designing and developing intelligent analytics platforms for metro systems
- Working with real-world operational data and passenger information systems
- Publishing research results in conferences and journals
The defense was an opportunity to present this work, reflect on the outcomes, and discuss future directions with the examiners.
