IEEE RAICS 2025 – Recent Advances in Intelligent Computational Systems

In November 2025, I attended the IEEE Recent Advances in Intelligent Computational Systems (RAICS 2025) conference.

IEEE RAICS is a forum that brings together researchers and practitioners working on intelligent computational systems, including machine learning, data analytics, signal processing, computer vision, and intelligent transportation.

About IEEE RAICS 2025

The 2025 edition focused on recent advances and applications of intelligent computation in areas such as:

  • Deep learning and machine learning for real-world systems
  • Signal and image processing, pattern recognition, and computer vision
  • Intelligent transportation systems and smart infrastructure
  • Data-driven decision making and optimisation in complex systems

The talks and sessions highlighted how research ideas are being translated into deployable, robust solutions.

Connection to my work

My research on intelligent transport analytics, metro systems, and data-driven platforms aligns closely with the themes of RAICS. Attending the conference provided:

  • New perspectives on modelling, learning, and optimisation techniques
  • Exposure to recent work in computational intelligence and its engineering applications
  • Opportunities to connect with other researchers working on related problems
